The TerraCottem soil conditioning technology was originally developed in the 80’s by Professor W. Van Cotthem and his team of scientists from the Laboratory of Plant Morphology, Systematics and Ecology at the University of Ghent in Belgium, to increase trees’ survival rate in reforestation programmes in semi-arid regions and for the implementation of sustainable agriculture in areas with degraded soils and little rainfall in order to improve the standard of life of people living in precarious conditions.
The TerraCottem Company was established in 1993 to bring this scientific know-how of the University together with the resources necessary to produce and commercialise the TerraCottem soil conditioning technology on a global scale. Today the TerraCottem technology is distributed in more than 40 countries worldwide.
The company’s R&D department carries out it research and development in conjunction with independent research facilities ensuring its clients that the TerraCottem soil conditioning technology remains at the forefront of the industry at the most cost-effective price.
TerraCottem's technical and product staff are always available to advise and assist clients with their specific questions and project needs, and will ensure that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
TerraCottem does not produce for other brands. You will only find the quality and efficiency of the TerraCottem soil conditioning technology under the TerraCottem brand name.
