TerraCottem arbor

Soil conditioner for trees and shrubs.

Life insurance for your trees.

More trees established. Fewer to replace.

When newly planted trees struggle to establish, the consequences go beyond slow growth. Replacement planting, extra site visits and additional maintenance increase costs and delay the intended results of your planting project.

Transplant stress, poor soil conditions and limited access to water and nutrients can restrict root development, leaving young trees vulnerable during establishment.

TerraCottem arbor helps improve survival and planting success by supporting stronger root development and healthier growth. Applied once, at planting, it helps trees establish and become more resistant to drought stress - giving you greater confidence in your planting project.

Watch how TerraCottem arbor works:

Combined action where trees need it most

TerraCottem arbor is a granular soil conditioner developed specifically for trees and shrubs. Its water-absorbing, growth-stimulating and nutritive components work together in the root zone:

  • Growth-stimulating components support root development and early growth.
  • Water-absorbing components improve water retention and availability between watering or rainfall.
  • Nutritive components supply nutrients to support establishment.

The formulation combines water-absorbing polymers, tree-specific fertilisers, humic acids, growth-stimulating components and volcanic lava.

Their combined action supports better establishment, increased survival and greater resistance to drought stress. For you, that means fewer trees to replace and less remedial planting work.

How do I use it?

Apply TerraCottem arbor when planting trees and shrubs - once.

Mix it evenly into the soil used to refill the planting hole around the roots or rootball.

  1. Measure the plant hole size and use the required dose.
  2. Mix TerraCottem arbor thoroughly into the backfill soil.
  3. Plant, backfill and water thoroughly.

One application at planting. No repeat application is required.

Continue appropriate watering and aftercare while the tree establishes.

How much do I use?

Determine the required quantity from the length, width and depth of the planting hole.

The examples below are calculated using the standard rate of 1.5 g per litre of backfill soil.

Plant hole size TCA rate
20 x 20 x 20 cm³ 20 g
30 x 30 x 30 cm³ 40 g
40 x 40 x 40 cm³ 100g
50 x 50 x 50 cm³ 185 g
60 x 60 x 60 cm³ 325 g
70 x 70 x 70 cm³ 500 g
80 x 80 x 80 cm³ 750 g
90 x 90 x 90 cm³ 1 kg
1 x 1 x 1 m³ 1.5 kg
1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 m³ 5 kg

How many trees can I plant with one pack?

Illustrative examples - actual quantities depend on plant hole size

Planting example 20 kg bag 10 kg tub
Reforestation saplings - 20 g per tree 1,000 trees 500 trees
Fruit trees - 200 g per tree 100 trees 50 trees
Urban trees - approximately 1.4 kg per tree 14 trees 7 trees

The number of trees you can treat depends on the dimensions of the planting hole. The examples below show approximate pack coverage, calculated using the standard application rate of 1.5 g per litre soil.
