Construction of "gravel lawn" parking with TerraCottem Turf

Early 2019, a car park was constructed for the Skyline Park in Izegem: a "gravel lawn" concept was used, including TerraCottem Turf soil conditioner.

- 160 m³ "gravel lawn" mixed with 240 kg of TerraCottem Turf
The car park, including the fire lanes, was constructed using 2 layers: a foundation layer with "gravel lawn" on top:
(*) Gravel lawn is a homogeneous mixture of gravel, basaltic lava, foam lava, clay, CMC compost and tall fescue. This mixture provides both high load bearing capacity to support the weight of the traffic and sufficient growing conditions to allow grass development.
To further increase the water and nutrient retention of the growing medium, 1.5 kg of TerraCottem Turf was mixed per m³ of substrate.
